Holy cow! The temperature has finally risen above freezing point here on the west coast of Scotland and little limbs are being bared to the watery sunshine. Mere seconds later, before they have a chance to change colour from blue to white, the factor forty is slapped on by ‘Helicopter Mum’, ever present and hovering inches away to adjust a wayward sunhat incase accidental UV exposure should occur.

For those of us who consider children playing out doors in the sunshine a healthy and welcome sight let me introduce you to the Mini A Ture High Summer Collection. Delightful cornflower and flint blues in both check and floral print, sunny yellows and bugs galore. 

With school summer holidays just around the corner, let them climb trees, throw mud at boys and create memories.

Having just composted the Halloween pumpkins and watched the last of the Autumn leaf fall being assisted ably to the ground by this evenings driving rain, it’s hard to believe that we have just finalised our orders for High Summer 2009.

With Summer 2008 being no more than a distant memory (or should that be, a figment of our imagination?) and the warm weather of 2009 too far away to contemplate it seems unfair and inappropriate to mention the gorgeous collections that we have been editing for inclusion in our store next season. Existing favourites Mini Rodini and Mini A Ture never let us down with their unrelenting quality and attention to detail, while Milibe, Munster and Molo, all new to Mash n Gravy and perhaps also to you, have such fabulous things that we can’t wait to show you.
